REMINDER: Today (Thursday, 10/19) South Haven High School will be hosting our Dig Pink Game to benefit breast cancer research. The varsity game begins at 1:00 pm and the public is welcome. Middle School Competitive Cheer -- Practice will begin on Monday, October 23. There will be a pre-tryout parent meeting from 4:30-4:45 pm in Baseline's Cafeteria, and then practice will run from 4:45-6:30 pm. Tuesday and Wednesday's practice will also run from 4:30-6:30 at Baseline.

High School Swim & Dive will be celebrating Senior Night tomorrow, Tuesday (10/17). The girls will be swimming against Battle Creek Harper Creek at 6:00 pm. Come on out to SH Pool and help us celebrate our seniors during this last home meet of the year.

DIG PINK -- This Thursday, October 19, South Haven High School will host our annual Dig Pink Volleyball Game against Berrien Springs High School. The game will be played to benefit the Sideout Foundation which raises money for breast cancer research.
The varsity game will take place in front of the entire student body at 1:00 pm in the SHHS gym with the JV game to follow. There will be no admission cost, but donations will be taken at the door. The public is welcome.
We will be selling Dig Pink shirts (both black and pink) and pink gel bracelets out of the office this week, and at the game itself. All profits will go directly to the Sideout Foundation. Shirts are $12 and bracelets are $1, cash only.
If you're able, stop by the office to purchase some of this merchandise, or come to SHHS on Thursday and watch the game. We want to invite everyone to come out to support the cause, and our team, at this fun event.

HS Volleyball -- Wanted to clarify the crossover matches that the varsity and JV teams will be playing next week. Pairings are based on the varsity team's final standing in our Lakeshore Division.
The varsity team will host Schoolcraft and Saugatuck at SHHS on Tuesday, October 17. The JV team will travel to Saugatuck HS to play against Saugatuck and Schoolcraft on Wednesday, October 18. These locations should now be reflected in our online schedules.

Friday, October 13, will be SENIOR NIGHT for the band, varsity football and varsity sideline cheer teams. The seniors and their parents will be recognized before the football game in front of the crowd at Ratcliffe Field. We ask that parent of all three groups of seniors please be on site to begin recognition at 6:10 pm. The groups will line up on the track near the scoreboard.

Winter Sports are just around the corner, with MS boys basketball and MS comp cheer starting later this month, and then all HS winter sports beginning in November.
If you plan on participating, make sure the have completed the following:

2) You have a completed profile in FinalForms. This means your student and parent paperwork are completed, and your profile is GREEN.

HS Cross Country -- Thursday's SAC Cross-Country Championship will now be run at Wayland Middle School (address: 701 Wildcat Dr.) rather than the 131 Speedway. Cost will still be $5 per car, cash only.

Boys Tennis -- Due to the probability of wet weather later this week, the MHSAA Boys Tennis Regional in Allegan has been moved to Wednesday, 10/11/23. More details will be pushed out when they are finalized.
