JV/Varsity Soccer -- The soccer game with Loy Norrix scheduled for Monday (8/30) has been cancelled. We will look at adding an additional game later in the season.
A reminder if your student needs to take prescription OR non-prescription medication during the school day they must have a form on file with the school and the medications stored in the Student Success Center with Ms. Romero. Open house & school pictures/ID pictures continue today, 8/26, until 2:00 p.m. Tomorrow, 8/27, is our final open house & picture date from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Masks are required to enter the building.
SHHS will host our Back to School Open House starting tonight, Aug. 25th, from 4:30-6:00 and Aug. 26th and 27th from 9:00-2:00. Students will be provided a printed copy of their schedule and students are encouraged to tour the building. Also, students will be able to get their school picture and ID at the designated times listed above.
Tickets for tonight's varsity soccer game at Allegan will only be sold electronically and can be purchased on any computer, phone or other mobile device.

We are excited to have our second year of Senior Reserved Painted Parking Spaces at SHHS for our Class of 2022 Seniors! All Seniors are invited to participate in this opportunity. The designated parking spots will be located in the South Parking Lot. Students must complete and sign the Senior Parking Contract make the payment prior to painting their parking spot. Please contact Mr. Williamson if you have any questions.

What is the PROCESS?
Step 1: Read and turn in this document (Senior Parking Contract)
Step 2: Show up on the designated day (Thursday, August 26th at 5pm)
Step 3: Make $10 payment
Step 4: Paint your parking spot. You may ONLY paint during the designated painting days/hours under school supervision.
Step 5: Remove or cover with grey/black exterior paint by grad practice in order to walk at graduation.
Paint requirements:
Paint must be water-based exterior latex.
No spray paint or reflective paint permitted.
Students will provide their own paint. (Consider sharing with others.)
Prohibited:
Must be school-appropriate and follow all SHHS handbook guidelines.
You may include your name but no one else’s name.
Do not paint within 1 foot of yellow parking lines
Refrain from political advertisement
If you paint any prohibited items in your space, you will be required to paint over the parking space and forfeit your parking permit with no refund.
South Haven Varsity Tennis will not be attending the competition at Three Rivers this Saturday (8/21) due to a conflict.

Girls interested in playing HS basketball this year: Our new coach Shiron Williams will have a brief informational meeting at noon on Monday (8/23) in the HS gym.

Remember that all athletes wishing to play fall sports must have a current sports physical to participate. The physical must be completed on or after April 15, 2021 to be considered a valid physical for 2021-22.
Our Summer Migrant Education Program came to a close earlier this week! Students made amazing bounds educationally and had a TON of fun with field trips to the Van Buren State Park, Holland Aquatic Center, Michigan Maritime Museum (including a boat ride on the Lindy Lou) and with a wonderful Family Night! Thank you our students, staff, volunteers, and community partners for making it another great year!
