South Haven High School

Signups for Little Rams Boys Youth Basketball Program will be Tuesday and Wednesday (12/6 & 12/7) from 5:00 - 6:30 pm in the high school cafeteria. The program is available to boys in Kindergarten thru 5th grade. Cost is $50.00 per player, cash or check only. Checks should be made out to South Haven Athletics. Any questions can be directed to Chad Kerr at chad.kerr24@outlook.com. Practice will begin the week of 1/9. There will be six scheduled game weeks with games running on Saturday. We will need volunteer coaches. Volunteers should know the basics of coaching basketball and will be subject to a background check. Please let us know when you come to sign you player up.

Reminder: Tuesday night (11/29/22) is High School Winter Sports Meet the Team Night. The evening will begin in Listiak Auditorium at 7:00 pm. Coaches, athletes and parents are STRONGLY encouraged to attend.

Congratulations to Katherine Brennen, Kayley Gorham, Branden Tippy, Yamil Garcia, and Tessa Hosier on being selected for the MSBOA District VI ALL STAR Band! They rehearsed and performed in concert alongside All Star students from across SW Michigan this past weekend (despite the blizzard) at Paw Paw High School.

All afternoon/evening athletics practices have been cancelled for Friday, 11/18/22 due to inclement weather. We will be making the call about Saturday's events later this afternoon. Stay tuned to the South Haven Athletics Website and Facebook Page for updates.

This is a reminder about FinalForms, an online forms and data management service. FinalForms allows you to complete and sign athletic participation forms for your students online. It will be used going forward and we think it will ultimately make our record-keeping easier and safer for parents and kids. We are excited to begin using FinalForms and we ask for your help in making it a part of our department. We are asking that ALL parents of athletes use FinalForms to register their athletes as soon as possible. You can access the site from any computer, phone or tablet. Practices for SH Competitive Cheer will be as follows: HS Competitive Cheer will begin practice on Monday, 11/7 in Baseline's Cafeteria from 5:00-7:30. This will be their regular practice time and location. Questions can be directed to Coach Rachel Burson at rachelburson09@gmail.com. MS Competitive Cheer will begin practice on Monday, 11/14. Monday practices (including 11/14) will be held at Baseline from 5-7 pm. Tuesday thru Firday will be in Lincoln's Cafeteria from 4:00-6:00 pm. South Haven Dramatic Arts and South Haven High School are proud to present "It's a Madhouse!" as this year's fall production. Best-selling mystery author Byron Pembroke is dead. Soon after, his highly dysfunctional family gathers on a dark and stormy evening for the reading of the will. Each family member has their own reason to believe they’ll receive the bulk of Byron’s estate, but the family soon finds out that the deceased didn’t think much of them. Instead of naming an heir, Byron instead condensed his fortune into one mysterious object and left it to... whoever finds it first! Before greedy family members are able to put together individual plans of their own, the mansion is overrun by a horde of strangers seeking shelter from the storm. And once the strangers find out about the hidden treasure, they soon join in the hunt. Who will find the treasure first? Byron’s spoiled, self-serving family members? The bickering trio of ghost hunters? The nosy news team? Or the busload of obnoxious tourists? Come join the madness and find out for yourself November 4-5! With over fifty students in the cast and crew, you are bound to see a familiar face or two! Performances will be held at 7pm on November 4-5, 2022 at Listiak Auditorium.
